Terms of Service

The short version

BrewTrax is a logbook for coffee. Use it to record brews, keep recipes, and optionally share them. These terms govern the website and the iOS/Android apps. If you do not agree, do not create an account. This is a product agreement for the current release, not legal advice.

Accounts

You must provide a valid email and keep credentials to yourself. You are responsible for activity on the account. We may suspend accounts that abuse Commons, scrape other people's recipes at scale, or attempt to break the service.

Your content

Brew notes, photos, and recipes you create remain yours. You grant BrewTrax a licence to store, display, and sync them so the app can function. Posts you publish to Commons may be viewed, copied into another user's recipe book, and shown on this website. You can unpublish or delete; cached copies may take a short time to disappear.

Free and Pro

The free plan holds three bags on the shelf, keeps the last fourteen days of your ledger, and stays on one device. Everything you log is still yours — older entries are hidden from view, not deleted, and they reappear if you upgrade later.

BrewTrax Pro removes the shelf limit, restores the full history, and adds the tasting radar, Insights, sync across your devices, and Commons. It costs US$1.99 per month or US$19.99 per year and begins with a seven-day free trial. Prices vary by region and the store shows your local figure before you confirm.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Billing is handled entirely by Apple or Google — we never see your card. Cancel at least 24 hours before a period ends, in your device's subscription settings; cancelling stops the next renewal and leaves Pro active until the current period runs out. Refunds follow the rules of the store you bought through, not ours. Deleting your BrewTrax account does not cancel a subscription.

Acceptable use

• Do not post illegal content, harassment, or anyone else's private data.
• Do not reverse-engineer, overload, or probe the service beyond ordinary use.
• Do not present BrewTrax recipes or branding as your own commercial product.

The app, as-is

Brew times, grind targets, and tasting scores are tools — not a guarantee of a perfect cup. The service is provided as available. We are not liable for lost notes, interrupted brews, or store outages outside our control, except where the law says we cannot limit that.

Changes
